Common questions
Do I need Apple Music?
Creating or exporting a playlist needs an Apple Music subscription with Sync Library turned on. Importing and editing lists works without it.
How do I bring a playlist from Spotify?
Export it as a CSV with a playlist export tool, or request Spotify’s Download your data and use the Playlist or YourLibrary file. Import the file in Mixtape Rosetta. If a file holds several playlists, the app asks which one.
How do I save an Apple Music playlist as a file?
Choose the export option, pick a library playlist, and save it as a playlist, spreadsheet or text file, or open it as a mixtape.
Some songs didn’t match.
Open the Check step, choose an alternative recording, or skip the song. Rosetta never guesses silently.
How do I move a list from Chrome to my iPhone?
In the Chrome extension, choose Export for Rosetta. Send the file to your iPhone (AirDrop, Files or email), then import it in Mixtape Rosetta.
Which file types can I import?
Spreadsheets, text lists and common playlist files, including exported Spotify lists.
Does the Chrome extension download audio?
No. It saves song information only.
